I am pleased to announce the opening of my new online store, Kaplan Creations Jewelry Design. The format has been changed and the store is now easier to navigate. I have also changed shopping cart software, hopefully leading to a more user-friendly experience.
New Pieces: I have been focusing on producing wire wrapped pieces using semi-precious gemstones, beach glass, fused glass, or other items.

Earlier this year I went to a special education conference in Anchorage where I met Casey Wade Bitz. Casey, along with his family, collects beach glass in southeast Alaska. I love beach glass and immediately had to buy a small bag of it. Here is a pendant that I made from one of the pieces.The pendant is about 2" in length, and is wrapped with non-tarnish silver wire. $30.00
Fused Glass: I continue to design dichroic fused glass pieces including pendants and earrings.
Other Pieces: I shop around to find unique beads (both new and vintage) to use in my designs. Lately I have enjoyed buying new pearls to work with.
