On a glacier in Alaska
I've always been artistic, following in the footsteps of my
mom. Over the years I've taken a variety of art classes: still life drawing,
figure drawing, commercial art, ceramics, sculpture, painting, pastels,
metalsmithing, glass bead making (lampwork), fused glass, and beadwork. All of
these courses have added something to my work. Many of my designs are drawn from
the unique aspects of nature----perhaps the beauty of fireweed or the spectacular magnitude of mountains and
glaciers.
